About Me

I am a Connecticut native with a lifelong passion for the arts. I read and wrote in every moment of my spare time growing up. My father gifted me a Canon Rebel T5i the summer before I started high school, which kicked off my interest in visual media. Since then, I have made and worked on several short films, written poetry, and spent years honing my craft as a digital photographer. I've also dabbled in 35mm film photography.

Outside of my artistic interests, I can be found volunteering at a horse sanctuary in my hometown, seeking lesser-known sites in Boston, watching a movie or television show years after the height of its popularity, learning about niche topics, and caring for my pet hedgehog.

Artistically, I am heavily inspired by David Lynch, David Bowie, drag performance, historical events, the supernatural, and much more.

Artist Statement

I may be an artist by trade, but as cliche as it sounds, I genuinely view my entire life as one large artistic venture. I’d like my body of work to be a whole and complete picture, something beautiful. Even if it’s not to everyone’s taste, my primary wish is for it to be authentic.

My photography offers a romantic view of the world, especially in nature. Growing up in a small wooded town meant I developed a strong connection to the natural world, and the way I photograph it is a reflection of that.

My written work is often my most personal. I’ve been told I have a gift for articulating difficult concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand, and use this ability to connect with others through shared experiences.

My films turn original stories into complete works that are informed by my love of language, visual art, and music. To me, film is a perfect medium in which to combine this knowledge and create pieces that embody my unique perspective.

The modern media landscape is designed to capture our attention at every turn, and can quickly become overwhelming. I invite all viewers of my artwork to slow down, connect with their emotional and intellectual selves, and feel inspired to make their own lives a work of art.
